murphy: cachaito was in the buena vista social club and this is his solo album and it kicks ass. I particularly like track 5 because it's cuban with dj scratching on it and it ROCKS.
Yondo Sister is off 'the rough guide to congolese soukous' and my sis describes soukous as the music the gods listen to and i cannot disagree with her.
and yeah murph... i love tom waits' voice it's so gravelly and fucked

you could always just write the stuff as drafts and retro publish...
